Tips and Strategies |
Every ship is equipped with a powerful weapon and buffs capable of outright destroying any ship who dares let armor drop - so don't let it drop !
Though not as impressive, the Flak still has a chance to start fires on any components it hits. You can use this to distract enemy engineers from tanking the hull by harassing other parts like the engines. A sitting duck is a dead duck … eventually. On 'Capture' maps, each ship kill equals 13 points. In a 4v4, the match ends at 550 points. You will need 43 kills to win without capturing a single area - a monumental challenge, but certainly possible. None of the available weapons are 'effective' against Balloons. In a tight spot, it may be worth using it as a hasty shield to give your crew a chance to recover their wits. Flak rounds are just as powerful up close as they are at range - they merely lose extra AOE damage if fired too short. Getting up close and personal with a ram is exceptionally viable if you can survive the oncoming fire. Just make sure you break their armor, not your own. |
