Tips and Strategies |
Two Gatling guns on each Squid will allow speedy armor stripping, but the only real way to permanently damage the enemy is through either ramming into them (risking your own safety) or targeting them with the rear-mounted Artemis rocket launcher. The Artemis can overlap easily with the side Gatling gun, so the most logical strategy is to approach the enemy head-on with the forward Gatling, turn to the left to overlap it with the right-side Gatling (optimally firing both at once), then fly circles around the enemy using the side and rear guns. Once the armor is stripped again by the side Gatling, the Artemis can turn and unleash hell upon the enemy with a barage of stinging rockets. Burst or Greased clips are most likely the preferred ammunition types for the Artemis, while the Gatlings could benefit from a multitude of different options depending on the engagement range. Incendiary ammo is banned so there is little risk of fires. Helm tools are limited to allowing for more maneuvering and preventing defensive (or offensive) Tar Barrels or maneuvers (like Drogue Chute or Bumpers). This is all about offense, baby, so get out there and get stingin'.
