We're experiencing DDoS attacks, but we've got elite hackers maintaining our network and pinging the enemy mainframe. With an extra zero cooling tools, this could be the biggest crash in history!

What makes this special? |
This rule set really tests one engineer's ability to keep up a chemical spray network because the entire ship only has one available chem spray and no fire extinguishers. All damage dealt and received will come from Banshees, which are good at setting fires and slowly chipping away at armor and hull, but not particularly effective or ineffective at anything.

Tips and Strategies |
Banshees are annoying because they set fires with relative ease, but chemical spray can completely negate their fire damage if an engineer is vigilant. If the chem spray network remains up, the ship is relatively safe... but at the cost of firepower. After all, an engineer busy spraying is not shooting.
Banshees are a sort of jack-of-all-trades, everyman, blue collar weapon. Heavy clip makes them more accurate while reducing rocket capacity, burst ammo allows them to shoot more rockets at a slower rate of fire but is very effective when the enemy's armor is down, and greased ammo is just a blast for closer range battles where spam is key. Assume that greased ammo will be the most common choice taken by your allies and enemies alike. That alone might be incentive enough to think differently... Also assume that most ships will have two engineers, likely equipped with buff kits, dedicated to firing as often as possible while the third engineer runs about the vessel proactively spraying it down. If your crew is able to fire three Banshees instead of two, your ship will be able to output 50% more damage than the enemy (or 100% more if the pilot somehow ends up on a gun as well). There's a high skill ceiling here. Tight crew communication and team coordination to focus targets with overwhelming Banshee fire will help secure a win. Any time the Chemgineer or pilot can join the rest of the crew in emptying a carousel on the enemy, the battle could swing in their favor. |
